You are bidding on a 1978 Dodge Custom 150 stepside truck. This is the same body style as the 'Lil Red Express and The Warlock. I bought this truck from the original owner and started on the restoration project myself. It has a milage on the body of approx 113,459 but the motor itself has 689 and 5/10 miles on it. I pulled the original 318 out and built a 360 bored .030 over and cammed it out and dressed the motor up with wire loom, braided hose covers, Mopar valve covers and Mopar breather.The motor was painted chrysler orange. I did the body work what needed to be done and replaced the LF fender, RF fender, LH (drivers) door, RH (passengers) door, front and rear bumper. removed the bed fenders and redid the bed and placed fender whelps between the fenders and the bed to keep them from rubbing together and rusting out. The inside of the bed was sprayed with bedliner and the bed floor was redone and metal strips placed between the boards. The interior backwall was redone and the dash in bedliner with a custom wood top for the guages and top of the dash, New Autometer guages places in a stainless steel custom made bezel. The oil guage and the gas guage I have not gotten to work yet but i do have an extra oil guage which works on direct pressure in it that does work. It has a Auto-Meter Sport Comp 10,000 RPM guage mounted on the dash. I worked the floorboard and placed carpet with heat insulater underneath it and the seat has been re-upholstered. A custom made console with a Phantom face AM/FM CD player (can't remember the namebrand) and 2 Kicker Comp 12" speakers in a custom built box behind the seat. The shifter has a chrome skull top and the door locks are chrome skulls. I do not have the steps for the truck they needed replacing they were rusted out so bad but I do have the braces for them and the tailgate was warped and could not be straightened so I was going to put an airnet on it. I do have the tailgate hardware if anyone would like to replace the tailgate instead. The bed boards do need to be refinished but that can be done on the truck. The truck is running black NASCAR style 15" rims. The color I chose for this project is VIPER GT Blue Pearl. I am also going to place a brand new battery, oil change, thorough wash job, waxing and interior detailing to ensure that the truck is in top shape. Forgot to mention the windshield has no cracks or chips in it but has a white film around the edge and I will deduct $300.00 upon sale of the truck for the cost of windshield replacement if the buyer so chooses and the cable for the temp control is broken so if you look real close at pics of the engine compartment I have place a blue handled cutoff valve to cut heat off during the summer and on in the winter and it also has a new heater core. All parts in the engine are new except for the block and the heads and they were clean and the heads were ported on the exhaust side and the valves were grinded and seated with a valve grinder to precision specifications. I also have an extra braided hose kit, arrow bed rails, Sunpro copper tubing kit (for pressurized oil guage), FRAM Extra guard oil filter, Haynes manual and 3 Johnny Lightning Dodge stepside trucks 1/64 scale I am throwing in with the truck. OK it was brought to my attention the pics say 01/01/2002 that is wrong I replaced my camera batteries and never reset the date the actual date is 07/15/2010 for the pics. Any Questions Just Ask???
