I have owned this car for the better part of 8 years and it was my daily driver for the first 4. I began modifying and upgrading this car to use in auto-crossing and just plain having fun with. My wife, daughter, and the fact that this car is only driven once every two months dictate that we part ways. With that being said it is with a saddened heart that I list it here for sale . Ideally this would be a great car for someone to use as a play car that may be interested in taking it to the next level or using it for the pure fun that it is to drive. I will do my best to list everything that has been done to this car but please forgive me if I forget anything. Please understand it is not in an attempt to hide or mislead. I have done extensive work on the interior as well as under the hood, all in the interest of reducing weight and increasing performance. The nice thing about this car is that it is not overly modified so as to make it a chore to drive. The worst thing about this car is that it lacks A/C. Roughly 95% of the interior of this car has been redesigned and about 400 lbs. have been removed in total. The entire dash and center console were gutted and redone to remove all unnecessary mechanicals. The windows DO roll down, or at least the driver’s side does and once the regulator in the passenger side is replaced it will, again, function properly as well (~$50 on EBay). These are things that have been done to the car starting from the front bumper moving back… (again I apologize if anything is left off the list): Reduced weight bumper support, dual slim-line fans, Euro-styled headlights, NACA duct intakes, riveted screen mesh grills, lightened factory hood, custom CAI, timing belt and pulley’s replaced 18 months ago during engine rebuild, wideband 02 sensor, battery relocated to trunk, aftermarket catch can, stainless steel clutch line, stainless steel brake lines (front and rear), stainless steel headers wrapped in fiberglass header wrap, open (no cat) 2.5" custom exhaust , stock muffler so there's no loud exhaust while driving, adjustable FPR, J-Spec heads for increased airintake, J-Spec Intake for increased air intake, Rebuilt block (rings and gaskets) 18 months ago, new hi flow oil pump with rebuild, new water pump w/ rebuild, replaced brake master cylinder and both clutch slave cylinders within past 24 months, cross drilled rotors (front and rear), 17” Enkei RS5 wheels with 50% tread remaining, folding J-spec side rearview mirrors, 20% tint, completely customized interior, standalone engine management system (Megasquirt), laptop docking mount for monitoring, logging, controlling all engine parameters on the fly, interior bracing to reduce body flexing, fully custom dash board, aftermarket steering wheel and mount, 5” Autometer Phantom Tachometer, 7 - 2 ¼” Autometer Phantom gauges (water temp, volts, Manifold PSI, AFR x2, Oil pressure, clock), stock leather seats (driver’s seat is pretty worn), rear strut tower bar, 4 point racing harness for both driver and passenger, removed spare tire well and replaced with custom aluminum floor, sound deadening foam and fabric are used throughout the entire interior to reduce road noise and increase chassis stiffness, lightened rear deck, vented rear skirt, rear external engine cutoff switch, stock spoiler. Things this car does not have: A/C, cruise control, rear seats, driver or passenger door side impact beams, spare tire, factory seat belts (all the mounts are still available if you wanted to put factory seat belts back in this car), radio, windshield wipers (Rain X), airbags, working sunroof, and some other things I’m sure I’m forgetting. That’s about the long and short of it. Again, this is an extremely fun car to drive and along with the Buy It Now price comes a number of accessories that complete the package. To include: Laptop, extra laptop docking station, factory shop manuals, factory electrical manuals, various car dedicated tools, i.e. timing light, stock parts removed from the car, nuts/bolts, etc.., two single piece bucket racing seats, 2 factory 15” aluminum alloy rims, stainless steel free flow dual tip muffler, and some other stuff I can’t think of right now… I am listing the car at this price for 1 week and will then relist it for $500 less and continue to do so until the car sells.
