Vehicle Detail

Greetings, I am selling my 1995 456GT 6-speed with a rebuilt salvage title. I have had it approximately one year and I am now looking to possibly buy a Testarossa. The car runs solid with no smoking following startup what so ever. I was unable to obtain the prior mechanical history to explain the salvage title, however there is road rash on the passenger wheels as well as car color is Tour De France blue which is a repaint. The tires are new Eagle GS-C EMT run flats with fewer than 500 miles. I do have a set of 550 Fiorano Maranello Barchett rims included in the sale as well. The interior looks really good with some leather shrinkage in common places on the dash and back headliner. All gauges work with no warning lights. It runs cool with no oil consumption. I have replaced the following: oil and filters, right front indicator light ($1200.00), right rear tail light, spark plugs with iridium NGK, rear right shock actuator ($900.00), fuel lines from the tank to the filters, left headlight motor ($250.00), battery and air filters from K & N. Now for things that need attention. The windows have the gap at the top and sides which the 456 pre M series are notorious for. The drivers side door locks intermittently and needs adjustment. The blower is stuck on high and likely needs to be replaced. The original radio was removed and a sony faceplate was hard wired in its place and is non functional. I have tracked down a radio faceplate, amp, cd and mounting bracket included in the sale ($1800.00). There is a power leak from the window switches which i have not tracked down yet, so the car is on a battery tender when in storage for optimal performance. The power steering needs attention as well (pulsates when turning wheel and the car is not moving - possibly air in the system and needs to be bled). I will be replacing the gear oil with redline to correct the difficult 1-2 shift when cold (common in V12 models). A tool kit case is included in the sale but is incomplete. Shipping will be paid for by the winner. Follow this link for some photos: http://picasaweb.google.com/114768508810608808310/Ferrari456Gt?authkey=Gv1sRgCI7Rn4bHxYO8Yw&feat=directlink . The pictures are old and do not demonstrate the replaced right front indicator light or right rear tail light. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Good luck bidding!!!!On Jul-17-10 at 10:52:57 PDT, seller added the following information: I took the car out today and the left rear tire was flat (runflats) so that will be corrected before the end of the sale. The hesitation described previously is still there. No problem accelerating to 130 mph in 4th with rpm's to spare! (not recommended with a crosswind or a deer crossing the road!) Given the hesitation, I will drop the "by it now" and reserve both by $1000. The car is not perfect and I do not want to mislead anyone. More pics later today. On Jul-17-10 at 14:00:55 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added 2 videos: from a dead stop to 50 mph: http://video.yahoo.com/watch/7903578/20927399and start up: http://video.yahoo.com/watch/7903345/20927147 I have one more video coming at hwy speed. On Jul-17-10 at 14:34:06 PDT, seller added the following information: Here is a link to the last video. I will be adding pics to the link mentioned above. enjoy!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhhUxSaXnVQ
