Vehicle Detail
I am selling this 1987 BMW 3.25i. It is in great shape compared to some others I've seen on eBay. Lets start off with the exterior. Exterior is in very good condition. Has a few dings here and there but nothing major in any way. The small dings are located on passenger rear fender, passenger door right on the door molding, this is very new, must of happened on my lot from a customer opening the door. This caused the door molding to pop off. One small ding on driver side front fender right on the front tip near headlight. These are not major, I personally would only fix the door molding. The paint is in very good shape. A quick buff will take out all those mini road pepple scratches. Can't even see them on the pictures. The only area of the paint that could use attention would be on passenger rear fender, next to the tail light. The paint there is worn out. It may seem like a lot, but I can assure you it is a very inexpensive fix. Can't even see these areas i'm pointing out on the pictures. Thats how minor they are. The Convertible top is in very good shape. There are no rips on the top, but the rear plastic window has been reglued as all convertible rear windows have been. The top does not leak in any way, shape or form. The interior of the vehicle is in fair condition. The dashboard is not cracked, burned, or have any signs of being worn out. The steering wheel has a little roughness beggining to appear. Center console and dashboard are mint. Driver seat is torn and leather is worn out pretty good. That would need replacement. Passenger seat is not torn but the leather is worn out, optional replacement. Rear seats are in very good shape, those won't need to be replaced but could use some leather cleaner to shine them up. Needs a speaker cover for the driver rear speaker. Carpet is fairly clean. Engine and transmission are in exceptional shape. Engine is not leaking any fluids. Runs very strong and has plenty of power for you. Has most of its original color to it. I am unaware of any previous repairs but once you start her up you can tell it has been well maintained. I believe this vehicle was garaged for most of its life. There is zero rust on the underbody. Transmission is in excellent shape as well. No skips or clunks. Shifts very smooth. This vehicle will make it to anywhere you need to take it. Will pick up at Bradley Int'l Airport if needed at no extra cost. There is a possible discrepency with the mileage. I noticed this as I was looking at the title. This vehicle has had 2 owners. The first owner had this vehicle approximately 1 and 1/2 years. When vehicle was sold to the 2nd owner in early 1989. The mileage read 10,100 with "not actual mileage" stamped under it (On the title). If you ask me it's most likely a misprint or this vehicle maybe 10,000 miles off and an actual mileage of 98,000 instead of 88,000. Again keep in mind this was dated 9/18/1989. The bill of sale and records that I have are from 2009 and have 88,400 as mileage. Any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to email me! Thanks! I have the right end this auction at any time.
