This is a 1969 Mercedes 250 sedan. This is a very nice original California car. The car does run and drive. Unfortunately the engine has a rod knock, and will either need to be rebuilt or replaced. The transmission shifts nicely through the gears, however we were not able to go over 40 mph. The brakes, steering, and suspension are all in good working condition. The car handles well. Cosmetically the car looks very attractive. The paint is lustrous, but not perfect. There are some chips, dings, and scratches. The body does not have any dents or rust. The chassis, frame, and floor are also rust free. All of the chrome is good. The bumper on the drivers side is a little bent as you can see in the pictures. The interior is in good original condition, with minimal imperfections. Dash has a couple of cracks. Very nice original headliner. Drivers carpeting is worn.
