Up for auction is a 1973 firbird formula 400 with ram air its a TEXAS car and never been wrecked body is in very good condition and soild inside and out.Ive been checking up on this make of firebird and its becoming harder and harder to find.This car is 95% all original and still all there including both spoilers and all the front grill,trim,headlight assem,an extra set of tail light lens,new front seats,hurst shifter lke new.The tranny has been rebuilt with no miles yet.Motor is rebuilt but the bonehead parked it under the barn with the hood off and let the rain run in the carb but never started I believe it can be disassembled and cleaned up and put back together but will need the cylinders hoand out and replace the bearings and gaskets.Theres matching craigers and the the tires are ok but they will need to be replaced later.Both bumpers are really good shape however it will need a new dash a back seat and a console but the glass is all there.Ive sold this car 5 times here localy but they could only come up with the deposite and its had alot of watchers. I bought it to make a trans am cloan but the more l looked at it the harder it got.Good luck you guys and if you have any questions ask away On Jul-20-10 at 22:53:48 PDT, seller added the following information: I've got some changes for you guys the whole discriptions going to change except the condition of what the cars in so heres the deal going by the vin numbers the car is a 1972 firebird esprit with a 350 or a 400 and out of 29,951 made that year only 10,911 made with automatic transmissions.Out of the 4 years these body styles where manufactured workers went on strike for 3 months in 1972 which stopped production and less where made.This car was ordered with an additional option package including AC .The ram air hood came that way and the optional package had lots of little things like drivers inside mirror adjustment,painted sport mirrors to match the car,wide style chrome rock deflector trim,antana in the front glass,and so on.The rest you can look up on the internet by the vin 2t87m2n the production number is 511416 This is still a rare car and its condition is very good you will not be sorry once you see it even in the engine compartment the factory paint is still on the inner fender wells grease free in the collectors still rank this as rare and becoming very hard to find and if you come across one there normaly rust buckets.
