1971 Jeep J-4000 Truck. 69,698 Original Miles. We bought this truck used in May 1974 from our Local Jeep Dealer, Penn-Mar Motors. It was a Late-Model Low-Mileage Trade-In and it looked like a new one back then. So we have owned it for what - 36 years? This Jeep Truck has the factory 350 gas V-8 engine in it. I think that that engine might have been called a Dauntless V-8. What I do remember is that it was a Buick 350 Block. Installed at the factory in 1970. Three-speed manual transmission with High & Low Range Transfer Case. The motor, transmission, and all running gear are good. We had Penn-Mar Motors to install Warn Lock-Out Hubs for us maybe a year or so after we bought the truck from them. The 350 engine that's in this Jeep is quite powerful. This truck has sat for two years so it probably will need some somebody to tinker with it to get it to start. I'm not about to fool with it, I just want to sell it like it is. We had an 8-foot steel bed built on the truck years ago and you can see the rust in the photos. You can also see a rust hole in the right frame. Truck will be sold As-Is, no warranty.
