Vehicle Detail
Offered for sale is a stunning, low mileage example of Bentley's modernly elegant Continental GT. Finished in Cypress Metallic over a New Market Tan interior, the car is ceaselessly tasteful and with it's massive 6.0 liter twin-turbo engine and paddle shifters, grin-inducingly fun to drive. The original owner is an affluent businessman with a stable of cars to choose from and consequently this car was used sparingly, unlike many of the Continental GTs that have accrued significantly higher mileage in daily driver service. Always maintained correctly and garaged its whole life, as the pictures illustrate, the car shows extremely well. The Cypress Metallic paint stunning. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the color, it is a smokey mix of green and grey, exceedingly refined, as you would expect from Bentley. Marred by only the most insignificant of imperfections (a rock chip here and there, a small scratch, etc.), none of which would show up in any of the pictures, the finish retains astonishing depth and luster. All of the chrome, glass and rubber are in excellent condition, and the 19" wheels, wrapped in nearly new Pirelli P-Zero Rosso tires, show minor wear indicative of any 20k mile car. But don't take my word for it; the pictures truly tell the story - the car is gorgeous. The New Market Tan Connolly Leather interior is equally as clean, exhibiting only negligible wear throughout. The seats are free of cracking, fading, rips or tears, the carpets are as new (please note: the interior overlay carpets do not appear in the pictures because they were out for a shampooing), as are the interior panels and leather wrapped headliner. The dash is flawless, as is the burl wood dash. Everything works as it should, including the navigation, sound system, gauges and Breitling clock. Again, the combination of colors and materials in the cockpit is nothing short of striking - another representation of the car's strength and elegance. Mechanically the car is perfect. The immense power of the 6.0 liter twin-turbo engine is impressive to say the least, yet as refined as the design. The option to use the paddle shifters is ever apparent, and it can feel like a true grand touring sports car just as easily as a quiet and stable highway cruiser. With its muscular stance and beefy tires, the Continental GT is certainly no slouch in the handling department either - a perfect pairing of power and control. This car has always been maintained correctly and given the deference that it deserves. It is an excellent example of Bentley's first real push towards 21st century modernity and remains (as it will in perpetuity) a staple in exclusive restaurants' valet cues, five star hotel motor courts and the garages of the country's finest homes. To find a gorgeous example such as this, with low mileage, in a rare and striking color combination, from a caring one-owner home, presents an excellent opportunity to purchase one of the finest touring coupes every produced without having to suffer through the pain of depreciation. Bid accordingly. Please feel free to email me or give me a call at (805) 708-2404 if you have any additional questions or would be interested in purchasing. You can also see the other cars I'm currently offering at www.goodmanreed.com. This is a consignment car for a local customer and can be viewed in the Santa Barbara area by advance appointment only. Winning the auction is not winning the right to come and see the car, it's agreeing to purchase the car. Please ask all questions and perform your due diligence BEFORE bidding. While I have a California dealer license, I’m not your typical dealer. I’ve always had an appreciation for classics and sports cars and have always bought and sold them to create a kind of very small revolving personal collection. Through this process I've been fortunate enough to meet many great friends in the car enthusiast world, one of whom is the owner of this Continental GT. I try to give accurate descriptions of the cars I’m selling, but I’m not an expert and I encourage and am happy to help facilitate personal or professional inspections. But please do so before bidding, as the alternative harms my ability to make sales with other interested parties who have done their proper due diligence before bidding. I am well versed in sales to foreign buyers and if necessary can help facilitate such a sale with recommendations for trusted companies. For U.S. buyers a 10% non-refundable deposit is required within 3 days of the auction's end, the balance to be paid within 7 days of the auction's end. Foreign buyers must pay in full within 7 business days of auction’s end. Buyer is responsible for shipping, however we'd be more than happy to help with recommendations and arrangements. The car is listed locally and we reserve the right to end the auction at any time should it sell prior to auction's end. All sales are as-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. The above description offers full disclosure to the best of our knowledge, however we cannot warranty these disclosures as fact and encourage personal or professional inspection before bidding on the car. Thanks for your interest.
