Vehicle Detail

This is a used 1969 FJ55 Toyota Landcruiser WITH NO ENGINE. The previous owners had done a very poor V8 conversion that left the oil pan only an inch and a half above the front differential and the exhaust routed between the two. Needless to say the exhaust was crushed and the poor Cruiser couldn't breathe. I pulled the engine to address the improper mounting only to find out the engine was rather rare and worth more sold separately. Now I have a cool, tank of a Cruiser with no engine and lots of potential. She has some rust issues at the rear of both front fender wells and both rocker panels, but nothing around the rain gutters as is usually the case. She is complete minus the Toyota wheels, she is sporting black, eight spoke, Mojaves instead. The garage that pulled the engine for me, (Bruneel in McCall, Idaho 208-634-2252) did a lot of disassembly so there are radiator parts, engine and tranny shroud parts, and other assorted hoses and wires in the passenger compartment. She ran and drove before the engine removal, she shifts well with some play in the three-on-the-tree, a few pumps on the brakes before she builds pressure, probably needs all wheel cylinders replaced. but she sits well on a solid frame and semi-tired springs.
