You are bidding on a 1961 Pontiac Starchief 4 door hardtop, 389 2 barrel, automatic transmission, power stering, power brakes. gararged and well taken care of for all of it's 50 years. Everything all original not a repainted wreck that who knows what was under a new paint job. Cars like this speaks for themselves when you check them out, but I will try to do my best. original biege paint still shines could be touched up in a few places if desire. Second owner car with all original body parts, and trim, no rust, never wrecked, all body seams inside trunk and elsewhere, under side of car, floorboard, trunkfloor etc in great shape, very big trunk with original trunk light you can move around that works and original jack instructions on the underside of the trunk lid. the original trunk mat plus spare tire cover and jack interier door pannels all original in great shape, probably never removed. original seats and carpet worn a bit hear and there but still ok.The hood opens like new and everything is also original and solid, original air cleaner etc. and The car has 145 thousand miles on it and with a few minor repairs could be a nice daily driver. Starts right up and runs nice with the exception of a exhaust leak where the flang bolts from the exhaust manifold bolts to the exhaust pipes, also noticed a oil leak in the front, and the moulding on the right fender is missing. All in all a clean car that was speared any tampering or abuse over its 50 years.Happy to answer any questions or post specific pictures
