This classic, 1969 VW dune buggy catches eyes and turns heads everywhere it goes! Third baby forces sale of this great car. Used as a daily driver for 10 months after being purchased from North Carolina. I've only owned it less than two years. The interior needs to be done, paint has some minor bubbles, but its mechanically sound. I did some minor fixes when I got it, brakes, tune up, tie rods and ends, rhino lined the interior, cleaned up the wiring and put in a new fuse block. It is all-the-time-convertible, but it has drain holes for rainwater, and marine grade interior lights(I added), marine grade screws, basically anything interior exposed to weather was purchased from the boat store. Wheels and tires in great condition and have some extra parts to go with it. It has one of VW's odd transmissions, an automatic-stickshift, 3 speed, but could easily be converted to a standard 4 speed. The logo on the side does come off, just haven't had the chance to take it off yet. This car is very well known in our area, and my son and I will be sad to see it go, but not practical for our family anymore. $5,500 obo, payment to be cash, cashiers check, or money order.
