Vehicle Detail
I have had the truck for 3 years. It originally had a tired 305, but I swapped that out with a freshly rebuilt 350 bored .030 over and added an Edlebrock Endurashine Performer intake manifold and an Endurashine 600cfm carb to match. The transmission is a turbo 350 with a mild shift kit. It was rebuilt just before I bought the truck. It has all newer engine components, including water pump, fuel pump, hoses, gaskets, belts, starter, and engine dress-up kit. The exhaust is new from the headers back, and is a true dual exhaust which sounds great. I've replaced the front grille, headlight bezels, and trim pieces with shiny billet aluminum. The original stereo has been replace with an Alpine head unit, complete with USB and iPod inputs. The original speaker was replaced with 2 4-inch Alpines as well. The entire suspension was recently replaced as I had the truck lowered 2/4 for a better stance and tighter turns. I also have a front sway bar to put on it, but that has yet to be completed. It will come with the truck, along with many interior parts, which was going to be my next step in the project before I decided to move on to something the whole family could fit in. I have black door panels, a black dash pad, black seat belts, and other various items to enhance the interior. They will all come with the truck. It's a solid truck that has plenty of power. It will easily light up the tires. There is original wood in the bed under the bedliner. I never got around to refinishing that part, but it would look great. There is also a rear differential release lever in the cab of the truck. The previous owner liked to pull this truck behind his camper, but released the rear drive so it would not rack up miles. I would not hesistate to drive it anywhere. I drove it from Ohio to North Carolina. It has been on trips to eastern North Carolina from our home west of Winston-Salem. It's a good truck that is well on its way to being a GREAT truck. It just needs someone who is interested in putting in the time. Or, you can drive it for years just like it is!
