Vehicle Detail
For auction is one nice 1976 Cutlass. I'll start with the good. It's got 442 options. 307 442 motor and trans. Bucket seats, console, spoiler and olds 3 spoke steering wheel. The car has dual exhaust, and 15 inch ralley wheels. The car runs and rides pretty good. It has a 3 inch cowl fiberglass hood and a JVC CD stereo. All of the gauges and lights work. I believe you could drive this car anywhere. The car cleans up nice and turns alot of heads. Now for some bad. This is not a real 442. Back in 1989, a 442 was hit from the rear and was a total. A previous owner then took this original burgany/burgany V6 cutlass and put all of the 442 items on it. At that time it was repainted like it is now. It still looks pretty good, but could use a repaint to be perfect agian. The interior is all real nice except for the carpet. It needs replaced. I don't believe you could just clean it. There's a small exhaust leak, and the car smokes a little at start up if it hasn't been started for a few weeks. Valve seats. Somebody removed the AC unit, and the motor dept needs detailed. I believe that covers alot. The is a nice, and very fun car. But, is not perfect. Solid, clear title, runs good. You could fix it up as you drive it, park it and restore, or just drive it. Extra parts in trunk. A none returnable paypal deposit of $500.00 is due with in 8 hours of the auctions end by the winning bidder. The remaining balance is due cash in person at time of pick-up. We do not deliver. Winning bidder is responsable for the pick-up and delievery of the veh. The car must be picked up at the DMV Monday threw Friday between 9AM and 4PM. The title must be transfered befor leaving. We reserve the right to end this auction at anytime, due to the fact that this car is for sale locally for $3700.00. If you have less than a positive 10 feedback, your bid will be removed. If you have any Q's? Email us, and we will write back as soon as we can. No trades. Thanks. On Jul-07-10 at 20:06:26 PDT, seller added the following information: More than one person has asked some of the same Q's. So I'm adding the following. The year is wrong in the opening sentance. A fat finger typo. It's a 1986, not 76. There is no such engine block as a 442. The 442's of the 80's all came with a high output 307. Which this car has from a 1986 442. The car is 25 years old. So, naturaly there's no warrenty. The car is being sold as is, where is. I believe I'm the 4th owner. The only trades I would consider would be a Oldsmobile from the 50"s. Like a 1955 Rocket 88 two door post. Thanks everyone. I always enjoy hearing from all my oldsmobile friends. RocketmanOn Jul-07-10 at 20:15:39 PDT, seller added the following information: The yellow bag in the trunk is all the replacement chrome for the seat bottums and sides. I never saw a reason to put them on until replacing the carpet.
