1968 Cadillac Sedan Deville 4 door car! This auction is for a 1968 Caddy! It needs total restoration! Features: Starter motor Bendix is going bad. There is a spare starter in the trunk, unknown condition. 472 cubic inch motor Needs Paint Has lifter noise Doors shut with a solid “thud” sound. Windshield is cracked! Seats need recovered! Tires are bad!. Has a rusty spot below the driver's mirror, see photo. Interior lights WORK! WOW! Horn blows! CLEAR COLORADO TITLE Runs very rough, needs a tune up. Power windows! They work but are pretty stiff Dash is cracked. PVC valve is missing along with its vacuum line. Battery is dead. 6-way power seat seems to work! Yay! Brakes work! Body is straight. 4 hubcaps included! AC is NOT charged. Cruise control does not work. May have a slight scent of mothballs. No Instruction Manual AS you can see, this car needs restoration. I believe this is commonly referred to as the "big" size car. This car has been parked for years. I poured some gas in the tank, some oil in the cylinders, some more gas in the carb, got some jumper cables and WOW! IT STARTED! So, I drove it up to the house and parked it by the front door. My wife is so proud of me! I’ve had this car for a long time. I bought it from a VW repair shop owner. He said he had the cars in Arizona before he came to Colorado. I think with a pair of seat covers, some tires and just the right amount of tender lovin’ care, this car could be a daily driver. HOWEVER, it is NOT a new car for $500. Some fella looking for a new car for $500 told me this car needed new spark plug wires. He’s probably right. I hate to scrap out a clean vintage body car, so here it is for sale on ebay instead. But please don’t tempt me, I am not very attached to this car. I have thoughts of a demolition derby, but my back is too achy for that. If you have a big ramp, this car might make a good jumper. But I doubt it. It’s heavy. This car would make a nice addition for the in-laws. There may be some parts missing that are not mentioned in this description. I’ve tried to be accurate. I think it is pretty much complete unless noted above. Other than the rust spot below the mirror, I only see surface rust, as on the body in the photos. No shipping on this item.
