Check this out! We took this opel in on trade, but its documentation and 2 owner history make it unique! It has 63851 original miles, DOCUMENTED by every registration from day one until current. It has the original opel warranty booklet, signed, with VIN number and original owners information. It has been an Indiana car all its life, to present. Even has the original battery warranty card. It has an unrestored interior, that is better than a lot of restored cars. original uncracked dash, vin plate intact, and not even cracks around the dash pocket. Has original opel gt am radio, uncracked steering wheel with nice horn center. has opening rear windows, and 4 speed transmission. the gear shift boot has slight tear in the very top ring of it, but is hardly noticeable. The carpet is original, good condition, and original thin rubber opel floor mats on both floors. We do not have any info that the engine has ever had major work, it runs good. It has orignal solex carb, cap over the distributor for wires, original exhaust MINUS the rear resonator, which will be included, we just didnt have one on hand presently. The balance of the exhaust is good. The transmission shifts well, no known issues. Brakes are a little spongy at times with a possibility of a rear brake sticking if it sits very long. Again, not a car we restored just took in on trade and selling as is. It appears to have been repainted and had some rust fixed around the front fender lips, but is a good repair from what we can tell and there is no present rust that we can detect. Floor boards are solid and appear in good condition. Tires have plenty of tread but have no idea how old they are. they hold air and look good. Original beauty rings and centers on the wheels. have orignal keys and gas locking gas cap too. car has orignal hella lights and lenses, no repro here. all are in above average shape except drivers side rear side marker, it has a corner chipped away from it. they arent expensive, but couldnt see changing an original car. seats are in great shape, passenger seat has top part unstitched about the size of a quarter, but isnt separated and hard to tell in a picture. Nice opel gt for a collector. No mods, just original gt. this will be a no reserve auction with plenty of time to come check it out and bid. All documentation comes with the car and has clean indiana title. the window sticker shows option L2 tinted windshield and rear glass as only option. price was 3440.86 per window sticker. engine number per window sticker and in the car is 19 0734104 car was new delivered at jim kelley buick, inc fort wayne indiana. can be seen, inspected anytime.
