2003 Range Rover HSE The Range Rover has been described as "the most capable vehicle in the world". For 2003, the Range Rover has seen the comfort levels be brought up to rival the supreme standard of the off-road, go anywhere/do anything performance profile. Add to these two ingredients iconic exterior styling and the winning combination you are left with can only be Range Rover. The exterior is in very nice condition throughout, with only typical wear which would be expected of a seven year old vehicle with 114,000 gently driven miles on it. That being said, I would guess it to be in far above average condition in comparison to the rest of the market and has never been taken off road. The bumpers, side cladding and other exterior trim are in excellent condition and all glass is original and unmarked. The vehicle has always been kept clean, polished and detailed. The interior is in excellent condition and has always been kept clean and has never been smoked in. The Lightstone leather is free of any heavy wear or major blemishes and all carpets and overmats are clean and in nice condition. The cherry wood trim on the fascia and console is in excellent condition as well as the headliner. The rear cargo area is clean and free of any damage, stains or otherwise. The digital display in the dash has some pixels out which makes it a little hard to read. The brakes have approx. 90% pad life remaining, front and rear, tires are Pirelli which are approximately 10% worn (90% remaining). The hi-fi system is the excellent H/K Logic 7 system (with 6-disc CD stacker), which sounds incredible, the sat-nav works properly as well as the climate control system, power windows, sunroof, power seats and central locking. Additionally, this Rover is equipped with the cold weather package, which includes heated seats (front and rear), heated steering wheel and heated windshield. All instruments, interior and exterior lamps and warning systems function properly. Additionally, this truck is equipped with the high intensity discharge xenon headlamps, which are a Godsend on dark, windy back roads. I think that about sums everything up. Overall, it’s simply a nice, well-maintained, for the money offers a lot of refinement and luxury for less than the cost of a new Honda. It’s no secret that service on any Land Rover can be costly, and they can be maintenance-intensive, however with all of the improvements in the Mk.III, thanks to guidance from then-parent company BMW, they really worked out the kinks for the most part, and with these early examples having been on the road for seven years now, many of the teething issues have long since been sorted out.
