1967 Shelby Eleanor GT 500 Recreation Original 1967 Mustang Fastback Please visit my Photobucket at: Hugoos1977 http://s997.photobucket.com/home/Hugoos1977/allalbums Listed in the Eleanor World Registry - #137 This is a 1967 Ford Mustang Original Fastback. This project took 2 years to complete. Many hours devoted to extensive research in order to locate the best available parts and components. From the beginning our idea was to make an Eleanor recreation that was not like anything else. After the completed project we are proud to say this is an amazing recreation that not only includes all the major components but emphasizes on details as well. Only experienced trades were used during the recreation of this car. This is a rust free car. Anything that was rusted on the car has been replaced (not repaired but replaced with the best available parts). The underside of the car is painted with 2 clear coats for show quality. We replaced the following: Front fenders with Ford original tooling. Both doors, Both full quarter panels, Roof, Complete floor from trunk to firewall, New firewall, new cowl panel-lower, and new cowl panel-upper, All parts used in this car are brand new: Engine, transmission, suspension, front and back brake system, electrical system (painless brand electrical system), body, glass, gaskets, wheels, tires, a/c, sound system, Interior: new Pro Car seats, panels, Blue LED lights (inside the car and in the trunk), dash, deluxe door panels with stainless steel trim and aluminum inserts, carpet, GT500 Floor Mats, DVD/CD/MP3/ Radio/ Navigation System with Rear View Back Up Camera, 3 point retractable seatbelts with the Cobra Emblems, Shelby Console with the Nos Switch Shelby Shifter and “Go Baby Go” knob. We installed a cosmetic Shelby Original Roll Bar. We used PPG DVC Premium Paint We painted the GT500 Stripes (Not Decals) and they are under the clear Super Snake Hood PIAA Lights used in the Original car Aeroform Fiberglass Kit Install (Best in the Market) We customized the trunk to have a stylish look. Please view the pictures to see the work that was done. We have the Dyno Sheet that shows the engine puts out 505 horse power and 500 pounds of Torque. We have all chrome or polished parts and components for the engine to give it a clean look. We added a NOS System that can be used to add 150 Horsepower (2 polished bottles in trunk – Please see pictures) Researching we found that in Muscle Cars and New Cars do not have good traction on the pavement due to the size of the tires. We decided to install the 335/35/17 rear tires and a Possi Track Differential for maximum traction. Being an Eleanor fanatic, we researched and found the same components that were used in the Original Eleanor. We have used Total Control Products Suspension, Coil Overs with Adjustable Shocks, Total Control Products Manual Rack and Pinon, Total Control Products Polished Steering Column, Total Control Products Montecarlo Engine Braces. We have upgraded the brake system to the Massive 6 Piston Shelby Baer Brakes with Sink Plated Cross Drilled 13in Rotors. We added the red option to the Shelby Calipers. The car comes with 505 HP but if you are looking for more HP we can install a supercharger or blower at an additional cost. We believe this Eleanor has the best quality for the reserve price. Please compare all the components and parts used in this Eleanor to any other in the market. ALL REASONABLE OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED. We have all receipts to prove what has been done to the car.
