Vehicle Detail
1969 Chevrolet Nova 4 door with 307 v-8 engine and 3-speed manual transmission. I am the second owner of this vehicle, and have owned it since 1990. I would greatly love for this vehicle to go to someone who would treat it well and finish what we have started, and not bought to be taken apart for parts. Vehicle IS running and has never been owned by smokers. We have done a lot of work on this Nova, nearly everything underside has been fixed/replaced/updated over the last few years. The only items not included in that update were the transmission (still works great), the frame, and the distributor. Engine was fully rebuilt, new clutch (about 40 miles of driving), updated/replaced steering and suspension (including back leaf springs), dual exhaust with headers. All mounts for the transmission and engine were replaced, newer gas tank, replaced U-joints on drive shaft, and a few other minor items. The engine has about 7,500 miles on it, and all other updates have less than that.I was let know by a mechanic friend that the rebuilt 307 engine has as much or more power than his 350 he was restoring at the same time. The body needs work, and has some rust. It has white paint. Original trim is mostly intact. Only missing one piece of door trim, which we should find as we prepare to move, and one piece in the trunk to be reattached (front headlight edging). Original hubcaps. All labels and decor is as original, though some are getting worn from age. Interior is starting to have a few problems, due to age, but still in quite good condition. Drivers seat has majority of wear. There's a tear in the roof lining. It has bench seating with original seatbelts. The steering column has been replaced, but has not be reattached to the transmission. The shifting mechanism is currently a 3-speed on the floor. The shifter being located on the floor blocks the connections for the speedometer and odometer cables, so they are currently not plugged in. Replacing the shifting rods from the steering column to the transmission would allow the floor shifter to be removed, and those cables to be reattached. The Nova is wired for a modern radio, with extra speakers mounted in the back. Great heater, but no A/C (too early a year for that). I'll be including all tools specific to the vehicle, and all manuals. The vehicle would need to be picked up here in Texas and transported by the buyer. In addition to the listed payment methods, I can accept direct credit card payments (secure). If you have questions, please drop me an email. Thanks for looking!
