Vehicle Detail
Fantastic running vehicle, is my daily driver and runs perfect. Was in a rear end collision prior to my purchase, seems to have been repaired correctly and I welcome inspection. Complete set of tools in trunk, owners manual with BMW flashlight in glove box. Needs headliner to be repaired and the seat-back do not recline though they work in all other directions. Good tires with excellent thread, no oil leaks, no noises and sunroof works. Cold AC and warm heater, all electronics works. Doesn't drive funny and no excuses. Recently replaced hood strut lift. Brand new battery with warranty from O'Reilleys a week ago. Currently registered in Texas with current registration, recently inspected and passed all safety inspection. Registration and inspection good for another year. Recently upgraded the performance with a Dinan performance chip with fantastic result. This is an outstanding commuter car and only selling for other pursuits. May consider trade for Austin Mini Cooper or other interesting import but most favorable European cars. PS: Need to clarify something that came out of some email exchanges. Although this car has a salvage title, it drives and looks better than a lot of non salvage titled e36 that I looked at during my search. Don't discount a car off the bat due to a salvage title. I reserve the right to end auction as car is advertised for sale locally. On Jul-04-10 at 09:57:38 PDT, seller added the following information: I will change the engine oil during the week so that it will be ready for the drive back home for the winning bidder, synthetic of course and with German oil filter. The air filter is new. Additionally, I changed the thermostat housing from the stock BMW plastic to a more efficient and stronger aftermarket aluminum version, replaced the water thermostat and electric fan switch as a preventative maintenance this weekend ($150). The vehicle has a more efficient aluminum radiator already and a new water pump.
