Vehicle Detail
We are the second owner of this Honda Fit. It's been a perfect small family car, but we need to sell as we are moving overseas... Clean Title in hand, passed Texas state inspection. Reserve priced fairly, below Edmunds.com private seller price. I'm selling our beloved Honda Fit, as we are relocating overseas. It's had its 60k service (transmission, brake fluids replaced), no issues, and has a fresh set of tires, installed at 71k miles from Discount Tire. Averaged about 32mpg lifetime, peaked at 38 on mostly highway trip. If mostly city, it can dip below 30mpg.It's an automatic transmission with the paddle shifters (in sport mode), drives straight and solid. We've had zero mechanical issues during ownership. We have a perfect feedback score on Ebay, and have bought and sold cars on Ebay, so I do my best to disclose any possible issues with the car.Engine/Transmission/Electrical: No issues at all. Reliable as can be. Not one warranty related repair. No oil leaks and not burning oil. Mobil 1 Extended Motor Oil used as long as I've owned the car (since 14k). Will include a box of Nippon oil filters. Next oil change due at 76k. No electrical issues, all exterior, interior, dash lights and window motors are functional. **I did receive a recall notice about the driver's side window motor. I haven't had a chance to go to a dealer, so I've leave that up to the buyer. Repair should be free.Exterior: No dings, paint is in great shape, but there is some normal wear and nicks (typical stuff) in front bumper and a mark or two on the side skirts. (See pics) -This car came with 15" alloys from Honda, and they are good except for some minor scratches (see close ups of all four wheels). Extra: A bug/stone deflector shield is installed- genuine Honda part - you can see it in the pics. Has chrome exhaust tip. Windows are tinted, good quality tint, no issues. **Passenger side fog light is cracked, but still functional (see pics) Interior: Cloth interior - no rips or tears, just a couple of small stains from 3 years of use. Back seat may have some indentions from using a booster seat, which may go away once the booster is no longer on the seat. "Magic Seat" system works very well, mechanically sound. Back seats fold down, or up, depending on your storage needs. It's an amazingly versatile vehicle. Trunk has a durable liner, added a left foot rest (see pic; well known omission by Honda when Fit was introduced), and a small coin slot holder on left side of dash (see pic). Has retractable cargo cover.**driver's side visor tends to fall down from it's fold-away position by about a few inches, which can be annoying. Was told by dealer it's a simple replacement, and you may find the part at a salvage yard or online. I was able to live with it, but you may want it replaced. It's stays up when blocking the sun in front, but just doesn't stay in stow away position. I think velcro strips might be a cheap fix for it.Stereo system has single CD (plays wma/mp3), has AUX input (have ipod, will travel!). All stock, nothing added or enhanced. Let me know if you have any questions. Do the research.. It was voted "Car of the Year" on Motorweek back in '07/'08.
