FOR SALE 2008 Porsche Turbo Cabriolet So you scanned through all of these ads looking for just the right ’08 Turbo Cabriolet. This is it and here’s why: It’s got all the usual stuff that comes on all Porsche Turbo Cabriolet’s, but it’s been optioned with these extras: Sport Chrono Package - 6 Speed with Sport/Short-Throw Shifter - Generation 3 Carbon Ceramic Brakes (PCCB’s) - TPM – Tire Pressure Monitoring System - Multi-Function Steering Wheel - 12 way - Sport Adaptive Seats - Heated Seats - Remote 6 CD changer - Upgraded Bose Stereo System - MP3 capable CD player in PCM - Cruise Control - 3 Power Sockets - LED Turn Signals - Bi Xenon Headlights with Auto-Leveling - Wind Screen - Floor Mats (yeah, that’s an “option” you must pay for from factory!?!). And here’s more personal insight to the level of care and attention this car was ordered with and has seen from new; 1. I’m the original and only owner of the car. 2. I custom ordered this car with details and options no other ’08 has. a. EXTERIOR; All lower panels paint matched at the factory (none of that bland, dull, black plastic around lower end of car) b. EXTERIOR; Grill also paint matched at factory. c. EXTERIOR; Headlight Washers paint matched at factory. d. INTERIOR; Hand selected dash, center console and door-finishing pieces in Carbon Fiber. e. INTERIOR; Natural Gray Leather interior option with contrast silver stitching. f. INTERIOR; Natural Gray Leather on all interior dash and door with the first PCM and console in USA done in matching leather. (No plastic silver console or PCM – this interior is like no other). g. INTERIOR; Paint match gear-shift surround, which accent’s the interior with the exterior. (first one in USA) h. INTERIOR; Carbon Fiber Door Entry guards w/illuminated “Turbo” logo. i. Porsche Crest in headrest. j. I have all documents, window stickers, contracts and all books for this car (included). k. I have all the Promotional Items Porsche put out for the release of the 997 Series Turbo Cabriolet (included). l. There are no engine, drive-train, or suspension modifications to this car. m. There is a “Smart-Top” option installed on this car – (it does not void any warrantee) – it makes the convertible much more manageable and allows for remote operation from the standard Porsche key fob. If you do not want this option, it takes 4 minutes to unplug, and returns the car to the standard convertible operation. n. There has been an iPod Adapter installed as well, and just as the Smart Top option – it takes 7 minutes to disconnect and returns the car to original condition. Some people have the iPod connection hard-wired, I choose to pay extra to run the wires directly to the box so as not to splice or cut any wires as is normal for most of the iPod adaption kits. This is the level of detail I maintain on all my vehicles. o. There is a TechArt Steering Wheel installed also. It does not affect anything regarding the Multi-Function options on the wheel, but gives the rim of the steering wheel a thicker, beefy, grip. This does not void any warrantee’s, TechArt is a Porsche Approved Accessories Company, and the Dealership installed the Steering Wheel and it registers in the Service Database without issue. 3. I’m insanely diligent about maintenance, and all maintenance has been done by the Dealer and is in the Porsche Dealer Service Network to prove it. 4. I’m just as nuts when it comes to maintaining the paintwork and this car shines with P21s Car Wax, layered professionally for the same shine you find on Concours Cars from Amilia Island Concours to the Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance. 5. It’s never been in the snow, or even driven on salty roads – and only driven in the rain 5 times, (purely circumstantial, not by choice). 6. It has only been washed by my hands only, (it’s never been in a Car Wash) and the final rinse on the car is done with purified, spotless, water. Only the finest micro-fiber towels have dried the paint. 7. Although I put Clear Bra’s on my other cars, I did not put one on this car as there are reports of Clear Bra’s having an effect on the clear coat of some Porsches, yet not others, so I opted to not do it. 8. The interior is spotless, no stains, rips or tears on any leather – and the leather get’s a conditioning treatment every 3 months. 9. I have never tracked or raced this car. 10. There has never been any curb rash (or rim repair) done to the vehicle. 11. It has never been in an accident. 12. I am proud of this car and after the sale you are free to call me regarding anything. Everyone who’s ever purchased one of my other Porsches will gladly talk to you regarding the purchase of my cars, I am most proud of that. If you know me through one of the Car Clubs I belong to in North Jersey and the Tri-State Area, then you know my reputation as a meticulous nut about how it’s cleaned, cared for and maintained. 13. I will accommodate any personal or private inspection company at my house – or meet them at either of the two local dealerships. I am not a dealer, I am selling my personal use car. No one has ever driven it without me in the car at the same time. I bought this Porsche with the mindset of keeping it for at least 5 to 6 years as I do with all my cars. I’ve owned multiple Porsches and they’ve all been 911’s, so this wasn’t a whimsical purchase, I truly love Porsches. Which is also the reason I’m selling this one, I have an unexpected opportunity to buy a 2011 Turbo S Cabriolet in the next few weeks and I don’t have the space to keep both.
