Most of the time I buy & sell bikes that have "no excuses" but every now & then, I come across a bike that's NOT JUNK, has a weird past, runs real well, still looks pretty good and is a Nice Low Budget Bike.....worth the money. That's what this bike is.....a 1998 Honda Shadow Ace Tourer 1100cc. I got this bike from a Harley Davidson dealer in Ohio that took it in as a trade. It had, in it's past, some minor damage to the OEM (hard painted to match) saddle bags, scratched up the running boards, scratched up the OEM crash bar and dented the left side of the gas tank. The previous owner simply removed & pitched the saddlebags & crash bar, replaced the running boards with factory foot pegs and lived with the dent in the tank the way it is. It was that easy. It's not "like new" but it looks very respectable for sure (better than a lot of bikes out there) & drives great! It now carries a rebuilt title (not salvage) and can be registered, titled & insured pretty much like any other bike on the road. The title is in my hand ready to be signed over to the new owner. Some of the good.......it is 1100cc, water cooled, shaft drive, 5-speed and runs great. All the turn signals, lights, horn, brakes etc work like they're supposed to.
