FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION: I have for sale a 1954 Ford pickup project with tons of new parts. This truck has a rock solid body and has had lots of good stuff done to it. The engine is a rebuilt 472 Cadillac bored to a 502, the transmission is a rebuilt turbo 400, the rear-end a 1957 Chevrolet (used to get the right width, the front clip is Camaro with power disc brakes and a high dollar billet instrument cluster and gauges. Past owner bought tons of new parts, including a complete new bed, fenders, running boards, shifter, rubber weather stripping, chrome and more. THIS IS A PROJECT, BUT A GOOD ONE THAT HAS HAD TONS OF MONEY SPENT AND COMES WITH TONS OF NEW PARTS! THE TRUCK IS NOT RUNNING OR DRIVING! HISTORY: I bought this truck from a local bank. A local contractor had $12,000 againist it and let it go back. I’m a car restorer and thought about finishing it, but have too many projects started. VIN: F10D5H22133 TITLE: Clear Tennessee title in hand. IS THERE ANY RUST PROBLEM? Just surface rust from setting in open storage for a couple of months, the head has lots of surface rust, but is a great hood it just needs blasted. The frame is straight and solid. IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE? None that I can find, no warped or kinked frame members and the title indicated none. WHY AM I SELLING THIS TRUCK? I am a car restorer and when I find a good deal on a car that I can sell for a good price and make a fair profit I buy it. I’m not a just a guy that buys cars to resale for a profit, I restore cars. I am retired and doing this for the love of it. PLEASE READ THE WHO YOUR BUYING FROM TO FIND OUT MORE. ENGINE: The engine is a very desirable old school 472 Cadillac bored to a 502. It comes with a set of ceramic coated header that cost $545, it also has a new set of chrome valve covers. It is installed in the truck and looks like the fabricator did a good job. TRANSMISSION: Rebuilt turbo 400, it comes with a new shifter in the box. BRAKES: Brakes are completed and it has a good pedal. Power assisted with disc on the front and drums on the rear STEERING: Complete Camaro clip (front-end) installed, it looks like the fabricator did a good job. The truck does steer, but the steering column that in it is just temporary, I have a GM column I will give with the truck. WHEELS AND TIRES: GM bolt pattern, good rollers. GUAGES: New in the box Shark gauges with a billet aluminum adapter to fit right in the hole with no cutting. The old gauges also come with the truck. NEW PARTS: New bed in the wooden box on back of the truck, new rear fenders, new running boards, new gauges, new shifter, new rubber gaskets (weather stripping), new headers, new chrome valve covers, new shifter and 472 Cadillac performance manuals. The license and bonding is expensive for a small father/son operation, but need to make things legal and make them happen without problems.
