Vehicle Detail
I have made the giant step from being an owner/driver to just a driver. It is an exciting change, but unfortunately it means that I need to part with my pride and joy. I am the original owner of this Impreza. It was the very first STi to arrive in St. Louis. I placed the order for it in January 2003 and took delivery in May 2003. I put 9,000 street miles on it that spring/summer, and then it became a dedicated and garaged track car since. It started life a SCCA Solo/Autocrosser, and was a 2 time St. Louis Region Index Series Champion, and as well has a 5th place finish at Nationals. Following autocross the car was prepared for competition in NASA Time Trial and Redline Time Attack. It's three years of Time Attack duty included the 2008 National Champion and 2009 Runner-up in Modified AWD in Redline Time Attack. *Passenger Seat Removed In This Photo Takata Time Attack Impreza Included in the cost of the sale, I will accompany you to your first track outing with the car to help you get acclimated with the car. I will do this at my expense providing that the event is in the United States or Canada. Delivery available worldwide at your expense, but I have a trailer and will travel. Frequently Asked Questions:1. Is it street legal in my state? Probably not. Presently the car is not street legal in Missouri, mostly due to non functioning headlights and brake lights and lack of a catalytic converter. If you wish to make it street legal, please consult your state’s department of motor vehicles.2. Why I are you selling it? I am selling it because I have accomplished every goal I established for the car. It is a national champion, it has appeared at the SEMA Show multiple times, it recently graced the pages of DSport in it's own feature, and it has even been a part of the Forza Motorsport video game series. To further develop my racing career I have decided to focus on being a driver and less on owning/maintaining a race car. The car is in very good condition and I hope see it in the capable hands of an aspiring Time Attack Champion or NASA/SCCA racer. *Passenger Seat Removed In This Photo Contact InformationSerious buyers are encouraged to contact me through ebay and please note your phone number and the best time to call.
