California 1990 Mustang LX 5.0, Cobra Intake w/ Performance Upgrades Does anyone in the Rust belt need/desire a California Pony? Not perfect but all there. Runs and drives. Not currently registered, but have driven it back and forth in yard. My neighbor, a drag racer, looked at it and was quite impressed with the upgrades: Said it has a Cobra intake (see photos), K&N cool air system, dual exhaust w/ H-pipe, headers, weld-in sub frame connectors, fuel pressure gauge, 5 speed tranny, limited-slip differential, alloy wheels, etc. It does have the original catalytic converters for smog purposes, if that is a concern. This was a law enforcement seizure. It comes with a bill of sale and Lien Sale papers from the Poilce Impound Lot. It is about 3 years out of registration here in CA, so it would be a few hundred dollars to register it here. Therefore, an out-of-state buyer would not be required to pay those fees. Check with your local DMV re: CA Lien Sale. You might have to do your own lien sale in your State. I am quite sure a tune up would be desired - it comes with an extra set of new hi-po plug wires, and an extra rear spoiler. Five digit odometer reads 08053, would guess it is 108,053.......... It has a shallow 5" dent in roof above passenger door, and I am sure some other nicks and dings. has a rock chip in the windshield, but it is high, behind the rear-view mirror, so should not be an issue. There seems to be a header gasket exhaust leak, and power steering fluid leak. Has a GT front apron only (see photos). Moving Sale! bid w/ confidence, 100% feedback.
