I am selling this vehicle for a friend. I have seen the vehicle and it is in exceptional condition. The following is a statement written by the owner. I have all documentation including American Motors Sales corporation purchase order and delivery to Al Harris Motors, Cleveland Tennessee. Car was delivered in March 1969. Have all vehicle registration and title information, titled to Gary Harris 5/26/69. The car was a graduation/wedding present presented to Gary Harris by is father Alvin Harris, owner of Al Harris Motors (an American Motors franchise). Have original window sticker showing all equipment on car including the following extras: PP343V, TG, DISC, E70T, HDC, STRIPE, HP SHIFT-CMMAND AND CONSOLE 64/OO BEALE ST. BLUE LEATHER TR. NO. T-936L ALL-SEASON AIR COND. SYSTEM POWER STEERING SOLEX GLASS, ALL WINDOWS ADJUST-O-TILE STEERING WHEEL MAG STYLED WHEELS VISIBILITY GROUP LOGHE GROUP 8-TRACK STEREO TAPE PLAYER 2/MRA BUMPER GUARDS-REAR With suggested retail price $4691.00 Have original owner’ manual. Have original owner’s service policy and warranty manual with original owner identification card. Gary Harris drove the car in Tennessee until June of 1969, then moved to Lexington KY and drove the car until the fall of 1972 at which Alvin Harris took possession of car but left title in the name of Gary Harris and put car in storage. Gary Harris took possession of car in winter of 1982 and drove it from Cleveland TN to Lubbock TX where it has resided until this time. The car was registered in Texas with the original Tennessee title (which is intact but very fragile) being the title of record. Since being driven to Lubbock the car has been driven fewer than 1000 miles. The car has a total of just under 61,000 miles. The odometer has always worked and this mileage is correct. There has never been any body work (including painting) done to the car. There has never been any interior work done to the car. The motor and drive train are all original; however, the cooling system, breaking system, and fuel system have all been refurbished using original AMC parts. The headliner is currently sagging and would need to be replaced or tightened up. If you have specific questions related to the vehicle, please address them to me through this listing.
