Vehicle Detail
Up for Auction is a 1951 Dodge B2 pickup. I started a restoration on it then kids happened and now I have no time to work on it. The truck is complete all the panels are there and are in fair shape. I do not have a title for this truck all I have are old registration cards. It was last registered in 1985. This was an old farm truck so it never saw a garage. It was running when I parked it two years ago, The ignition coil was removed so I will have to pick one up, and I will try to get it running again. I replaced the Brake master cylinder and rebuilt the starter. I also converted it over to 12 volt negative ground and installed a GM alternator. It has a column three speed manual transmission and a straight six industrial Crystler engine. All the glass is there but the two doors are cracked. I had the brilliant idea to make this into a tow truck. That is what all that white steel is sitting on the back. I have the truck bed with tail gate, gauges, and two fenders in storage and will be posting pictures when I get them out. I don't remember if I kept the two steel running boards, they where in real bad shape and not worth repairing. Feel free to email me any questions. As promised I uploaded some pictures or the Box. I still have to get the fenders out of storage and will be adding them soon. I also forgot to mention that this truck does not have a front bumper. On Jul-02-10 at 09:20:28 PDT, seller added the following information: July 2nd I uploaded the two front fenders and tail gate. I tried to start the truck but the battery is to far gone and I don't have a decent pair of jumper cables to handle the amperage. The engine was turning over, just not fast enough to start.
