Vehicle Detail
1994 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer Tahoe CD player with iPod connection VIN# 1GNDT13W9R0125677 I'm a restorer and collector and when this one owner 1994 S-10 Blazer came up for sale several months ago I couldn't resist so I bought it to use this summer on a trip to the mountains. Equipped with all the goodies, including power steering, power brakes, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, rear window defrost, intermittent washers and wipers, rear window washers and wiper, upgraded factory AM/FM stereo with CD player and internal iPod/MP3 jack custom done and installed in the front of the unit. I bought this hard to find unit that's with a CD changer as a professionally restored unit. It is being sold with the original owners manual and a lifetime Meineke front brakes warranty in the glove compartment. New front brakes were just installed. It also comes with the factory installed roof rack, overhead interior console with sunglass holder, storage unit, home link compartment and forward and aft adjustable reading lights. Forward reading lights are installed in the mirror with driver and passenger on/off switches. Aluminum fender well moldings, aluminum running boards including mud flaps all around and painted to match in matte black. Outside spare tire carrier that functions flawlessly with a good full sized spare tire attached 4.4 Vortec V6 Engine A 4.3 Vortec V6 engine that's running fine as is the tranny and the 4 wheel drive unit. Runs down the road at 60 MPH in high with no noises or problems. Oil has always been changed at the 3,000 mile intervals and I always put my vehicles on the Marvel Mystery Oil program to keep injectors clean along with all internal engine parts. Factory installed trailer hitch with cover cap and bar and ball that I've never used and believe its never been used. I added the bar and ball. Keyless entry with two sets of keys and two remotes. Keyless entry works for all doors and the back window. Tilt steering wheel, power drivers seat, cloth upholstery in like new condition, carpet is like new, new Berber custom floor mats installed. Air conditioning blows ice cold and the the heater blows very hot. I installed a new premium battery, New front end work including ball joints, and all new tires, all new wipers both front and back. I installed a custom dash pad for protection as the pristine dash has no cracks of any kind. Dark tinted rear windows and tinted windows all around with vent visors installed for comfortable ventilated driving and front bug deflector. All lights inside and out work. Rear seat folds down to make a full back end with one hand. The owner I bought it from lived in Lebanon Missouri and kept it in the garage so this is a no rust vehicle and has spent all its life as a Midwest car. I've been over it from top to bottom and there is no rust anywhere, and shows far less wear and tear than most three year old vehicles much less a 94 edition. The back tail gate underneath the spare tire carrier shows a small indentation but so small that it won't even show in the photo's. Not noticeable at all with the spare tire carrier in position over it. I redid the flat black paint on the wipers, spare tire carrier, and mirrors since it had started to fade slightly. Paint is in great condition and shines up well but since its red would need buffing at some time down the road just to keep it in great condition. The miles are actual and this Blazer gets great MPG at 18 in town and 22 to 24 Highway depending on how you drive but at 65 gets max mileage. I also had it aligned and of course the tires are balanced to perfection so there is no pull, and no wobbles from a new set of tires. The Carfax shows an odometer blip of the DMV transposing a number but the mileage on the odometer is true, and in fact if you were to ask me for a mileage guess without looking at the odometer I would guess from 50,000 to 60,000 miles as its in that good or better a condition. Door interior on driver's side This has been an adult owned S-10 Blazer all its life and was sold by the original owner because he wanted a new SUV. I bought it because he opted to purchase new rather than redo the front end and install new tires. For my own personal use I chose to redo everything that needed done and to upgrade the stereo system to my standards. I personally like the older style square S-10's than the newer ones. In my opinion they are built tougher and more rugged, and have more cargo carrying space than the newer ones while still maintaining a drivable size without being a monster. For you fans of this body style and for those of you who want a like new vehicle that's ready to drive anywhere, and to spend a fraction of the cost of a new one then this may be your answer. Throw away your Kelly Blue Book as I won't take less than I want for this pristine S-10. If you are a serious buyer feel free to give me a call at 417-883-1924 home or 417-773-4887 cell or email me at don.dollar@att.net I've disclosed everything I know about the vehicle and have driven it about 6,000 miles in town and on long trips so have gotten to know this S-10 pretty well. We're retired and have three vehicles with room for two so something has to go. Guess I could sell my pristine 89 Accord LXI but its easy to drive in city traffic so am choosing the Blazer. Momma won't give up her Volvo that she's in love with.
