1964 Buick Wildcat Sport Coupe "Low Miles" This is a low mileage 1964 Buick Wildcat. This is the Sport Coupe Model with the Automatic shifter in a console on the floor between the Driver and passenger. Only 12,185 were built in 1964.The Granada Red and Arctic white are really the best color combination Buick had to offer on the Wildcat. The car was repainted sometime in its life and still shines, but does have some imperfections on the hood and trunk. I have tried to photograph those areas in closeups. The interior is original and amazingly immaculate with no tears or rips. The carpet is also original in great shape. The car still has the dealer installed floormats protecting the carpet for the last 45 years. The engine compartment could use some TLC to get it looking good for a show. It has the Wildcat 401 Nailhead with 325 hp engine and runs great. This car is a delight to take on a Sunday afternoon drive. The car does have its flaws and I will try to describe the major ones. It is missing a couple of interior switches, namely the antenna switch and the Acc switch. These may have been options on the car as I have seen other Wildcats missing these as well. The Chrome wheels are showing some rust which may or may not come out with some heavy elbow grease. In the trunk you can see that the main floor board is in tact but there is some rust at both outer panels above the rear wheels. I have just replaced both motor mounts. The chrome is in average condition for this year car but the rear bumper has gotten some rust on the right corner. The car is also for sale locally so it may be subject to prior sale.
