History
This is a one owner car from Elizabeth City North Carolina. It was purchased new in February of 2007 and has been registered there until recently being traded in. AutoCheck reports a minor accident in March of 2008, the front bumper and rear hatch seems to be where the accident occured and they have been professionally repainted. We have the clear title to this car in-hand with no issues whatsoever.
Mechanical
Everything checks out on this car 100%. It rides and drives smooth and straight with no pulling to either side. The 3.0 liter engine starts and runs smooth and strong with all of its original power. The 6 speed automatic Steptronic transmission shifts smooth and crisp with no slipping or hesitation. All four tires have approximately 50% tread life remaining and the brake pads appear to be brand new. Steering and suspension are tight with no squeaks or rattles anywhere, just what one would expect on a BMW! The fluids have just been checked and it has been Virginia State inspected by an independant mechanic.
Exterior
The outside of this BMW is in excellent condition. The Barrique red (plum colored) paint is shiny and smooth the whole way around. There is a crease that has been touched up at the bottom edge of the driver's door where someone opened the door into something and a scuff/scrape behind the driver's side rear wheel (see pics). There are a couple other tiny nicks/scratches that I have taken up close pictures of as well. Other then these cosmetic imperfections the exterior of this car is nearly perfect. I would rate the exterior of this car a 9 out of 10.
Interior
The inside of this car is just as nice as the exterior. The seats and carpets are clean and free of any rips or tears. There are a few spots where the carpet is slightly discolored but nothing major. This car has not been smoked in and there are no unusual or offensive odors. All the electronic options work as they are designed to. All the books, floormats, and two sets of keys/remotes are present in good condition.
