Here is a 1979, the last year they were made Ford Ranchero. This one has a 1970 429CJ engine with an automatic tranmission. I have replaced the carb with an Edelbrock and new couil. The engine runs and starts perfect. Replaced the master cylinder and rebuilt the rear brakes. The car stops fine with the power brakes. The car has new fresh outside paint with the correct color and type stripes. The interior has new carpet, seat covers, dash and head cover. I have installed a new, brand new stero CD player and new speakers with remote control. I have had the side and back windows freshly tinted professionly. You can see the new 20" wheels and tires. This car is a blast to drive. It needs a new AC compressor. Then it will be cool too. I checked the front brake pads when I had the wheels replaced, they are fine. This car will also need a new or used wiper switch. I will also include to the lucky buyer a complete set of shop manuals, that is 6 manual and a huge set of wiring diagrams. On Jun-30-10 at 11:58:18 PDT, seller added the following information: We found the original radiator leaking. We have replaced the old one with a brand new Griffin Aluminum race radiator. The old fan shroud will not fit the new radiator. but the fan moves lots of air over the new coils. I also found a wiper motor and switch at the junk yard and purchased them. They are included in this buy.
