Vehicle Detail
2005 Triumph Bonneville T100 I bought the bike used from an auction and decided to make a custom for my wife. My wife works for Triumph North America which enabled me to get some neat stuff. I started by installing a Daytona Front suspension complete with dual front disc brakes and braking system from the Daytona. I changed the front fender to a tt600 front fender to match the lines of the bike. We added the fork gaitors and a Stainless Arrow 2 into 1 exhaust system. The bike was painted a custom mix blue and off white then pinstriped by myself. The back wheel is off of a Suzuki. I have the Daytona rear wheel but it reguires some machining to fit. It has the Air injection removal kit and a one off blue valve cover. The bike was tuned by a Triumph technician and runs it Ass off. Whay am I selling? She won't ride it - go figure. I am going to start the auction low and have a really low reserve. The speedometer was damaged when I bought the bike and was replaced along with a few other odds and ends. The Speedometer currently reads ) miles but the bike has between 3500 and 4000 miles on it. I was ridden about 6 times since it was put on the road. The Speedometer on the bonneville runs off the wheel and the Daytona runs off the countershaft sprocket. I have not taken the time to connect the speedo drive to the daytona front wheel. I have been assured by the Techs at triumpg that it will work with the right combination of seals on the front wheel. If the price reaches $3500 I will include the following extra pieces. Seamless gas tank (not painted but really cool) Stock exhaust (headers and mufflers) and after market exhaust (reverse cones)
