The car was purchased new in Southern California and sold in 2000 to its present and second owner, who kept the car as a fun Sunday driver, used sparingly, clocking barely more than 1000 miles per year. The interior is unmarked on all surfaces including the driver's seat bolster; the top is in brand new condition; the boot to cover the top when it is down was removed from the original packaging for the first time for the photos; the paint is excellent; the wheels are scuff free and sport very good tires. The 4 cylinder engine produces an ample 142bhp for a car of this weight, and is crisp and responsive. The transmission is excellent, as is the clutch. Brakes, suspension and steering are all in perfect condition as is all electrical. The stereo works perfectly, sounds great through the Bose speaker system, and has a CD Changer in the trunk. The AC blows cold. The car comes with original books and the rare option of the factory hard top, which is in excellent condition.
