This Jaguar is "ONE OF A KIND" that has been magnificently engineered, designed with workmanship that makes it a piece of ART! Written appraisal for $45,000.00 asking a fraction. "My goal was to build a Jaguar Mark VII Stretch Limousine!! To achieve this goal, I purchased two Mark VII Saloons. A 1953, with fresh paint, rebuilt engine and transmission etc, and a rough 1952, to be used solely as a parts car. I cut forty three inches out of the parts car body and frame then added them to the good car to form the limousine shell. I made the mistake of looking at the left over body parts Picture 2 !! A COUPE!! WITH FLAMES!! BIG V-8!! COOL!! I used a 69 Ford Station Wagon with 63,000 miles on it. Set the 1952 body on the shortened Ford Station Wagon frame-85 inch wheel base and used the Ford's floorboards. Took two inches out of the windshield, welded the front half of the front door to the back to the back half of the back door. I completed the project as a form of life insurance for spouse. Whoever purchases this car I hope that you will appreciate the workmanship, creativity and drive it because it likes to be driven! Kevin" Wife Note: Found this note in his shop file cabinet. The limousine was never completed for he died 10/2005 leaving behind a legacy of restored British cars. So now you know the rest of the story!
