Hi. I purchased my 1987 Jeep Wrangler, from a gentleman in Kansas and through Ebay, last year. He had built it to use as an occasional off-road vehicle (was NOT used for rock crawling or anything extreme). It has a 350V8 and 700R4 automatic transmission taken from a 92 Chevrolet Suburban. It has working 4WD (which must be switched manually). It has a high-performance camshaft, high-flow intake manifold, racing carburetor, headers, polished valve covers, a true dual exhaust, upgraded shocks, Optima Redtop battery, heavy-duty aluminum radiator, push-button start, high-flow electric fuel pump, lift, larger wheels/tires and a fuel cell. In its current state, it is NOT street legal. It has no: brake lights, turn signals, horn. It has LED tail lights and front lights, but no brake light switch is installed. Shortly after purchasing the Jeep, I acquired some additional parts for it. These include: a replacement windshield, hard doors, steering column with switches, etc, chrome grill/headlight trim and a few other items. My goal was to add what is necessary to make it street legal (could be done in a weekend's time) and then simply enjoy it. This Jeep has NO RUST...not even underneath. It starts right up, sounds great, is NOT ridiculously loud and I like it! The interior is "bare bones" functional. The reason I am selling it is because I have too many vehicles and am selling a few off. Here is a list of things I think may be helpful and/or informative. There is NO carpet installed and I do not have any (bought it like that). All metal is solid/rust free...floors, rear gate...everything. The original dash has been removed (I do NOT have it) and an aluminum dash plate has been installed. There are gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature installed. According to the individual from whom I purchased the Jeep, the heater core IS still installed. But...there are no "knobs and/or levers" for controlling any of it. The paint is a satin gray...it was applied by the prior owner. The dual exhaust is brand new...I had it built, by a custom exhaust shop, just after having received the Jeep. It sounds FANTASTIC! I think that's about it. This Jeep, as mentioned above, runs/drives great (and has had quite a bit of $ spent on it), however, it will need to have certain things installed in order to be considered "street legal". Well...in all honesty, they are the most solid, and corrosion-free, I have ever seen on a 23 year-old unrestored Wrangler. This vehicle has never been subjected to salt and, as a result, has none of the rust commonly found on these vehicles. It is rock-solid everywhere...frame, shackles, floor, tub, etc.On Jun-21-10 at 16:23:46 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: OK...I just lowered the Buy-It-Now from $4K to only $3200.00! The reserve is still $3K and will remain 100% firm as time goes on. I believe this to be a VERY low price for a running/driving rust-free Wrangler with a completed 350V8 swap, a bunch of spare parts and a clean title. It would be nearly impossible to build such a vehicle for such an amount.
