Vehicle Detail
Hello fellow Ebayers! You are viewing my 1970 911 T. I will break the car down into categories so that I can offer you the most thorough representation of the car. The Motor- The motor number reads; 911/07 *6108918* It has been completely gone through by Rudtners Racing Group on Long Island where it was rebuilt to S specification complete with Webers and a Ignition system that makes the car completely reliable. It fires right up and goes into an idle. The car does not smoke or leak. The motor truly runs beautifully and makes great power throughout its rpm range. Almost all early 911 cars I have owned were not drivable... they always have some glitch that makes them a chore to drive but not this car it runs like a modern car. The Exhaust- The car is fitted with SSI heat exchangers and a dual in single out muffler. It has just the right sound that all the late model 911 owners miss out on! The Transmision- The car has the 901 5 speed transmission that does not grind gears! wow! It is fitted with a Weltmeister short shift kit that makes shifting fun instead of the cumbersome standard 901 shifter that is reminiscent of throwing a football pass! The Suspension- I believe the car is fitted with Koni shocks. It has the European ride height. It has upgraded adjustable sway bars. This car rides and tracks unbelievably well...truly like a go-kart! The Wheels and Tires-The car has 3.2 Carrera Fuchs wheels with super grippy Bridgestone potenza pole position S0-3 tires. They are a very tasteful upgrade. The car also comes with an extra set of original wheels that are in rough shape but they came with the car and they will go to the new owner. The Chassis and floorpan- It is extremely original with to me looks as if has never had anything patched. When I bought the car the tow hook had been damaged so I had it removed and patched very proffesionaly other than that the chassis is extremely solid at all points like pinch welds etc. The Body and Paint- The car calls for paint code 6210 light yellow but it has been refinished in Porsche classic guards red. It is what I call extremely nice driver quality with no crazing or cracking but it does have a few small scratches aswell as on the bottom of the doors there are couple tiny tiny bubbles where some rust may be dwelling but I keep the car indoors and since I keep it as a car for driving and not showing, I never addressed. It has not changed in the two years I have owned it and everywhere it goes it gets lots of compliments. The Electronics etc- Everthing works on this car defroster and vent sliders, wipers, lights blinkers, horn and dash indicators. I cant stress it enough, you can USE this car thats what its for thats how I have maintained it and that how it was maintained before me. It is not another dolled up car switching from car flipper to flipper it is used and loved and is very fun! If anyone is seriously interested I can send additional photos I can also get pictures in my garage with a floorjack if anyone would like to see her underside! Please email me any additional questions you might have. Good Luck, Jeremy
