1966 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE 289 V8 AUTO COME DRIVE IT HOME!!!!!!!!! You are bidding on a great American muscle car. Powerful V8 with new duel exhuast this car sounds like a mustang should, just the right amount of low growl. The 289 has a Weiland intake and Edelbrock 4 barrel as well as an Excel distributor and coil to make the car very reliable. The car gets 16 mpg, not many muscle cars can claim that. The engine and trans have very few miles on them. The car starts easy, idles smooth and runs strong. The drive line is in great condition. The convertible was restored about 5 years ago, and has been driven and enjoyed very much. Everything was new and no expense spaired when she was restored, however it has some rock chips and a couple bubbles now. She was a show car but I would call it a great driver now. All chrome is in like new condition. Top is manual and is in great condition. Everything in the car works including lights, gauges, ect... The undercarriage on the car, floors, torque boxes (front and rear) and all frame rails are rock solid. Trunk extentions and drop offs are rust free. The paint is chipped in the trunk floor a little. Engine bay is in great shape. All in all the Mustang is in very good condition, with a nice body, solid undercarriage, very good interior, and the car is mechanically sound. We just had her to the machanic for an inspection and she passed with flying colors. I have a set of cragar s/s wheels that can go with the car if the buy it now is used.
