1968 Mustang Convertible, (trades welcome) For your consideration is my 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible, First off I want to let all intrested buyers know that this is a Clean Clear Title vehicle. This is not one of the "bill of sale" cars that we see so often. This car was painted Viper Red using a base coat/ clear job. There are a few imperfections since it was painted about three years ago. This is not a 100% concousre show car. It is a driver that can be driven anywhere at anytime. The tires were just replaced about 3 months ago. The wheels are Magnum 500s 14x8. This is an AC car that needs to be recharged and have a belt put on it. I never fixed it because we drop the top. Why else would you want a convertible. The top was put on about 6 months ago and is still nice and tight. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. The powersteering pump leaks just a little bit too. I included a few of the flaws in the paint in the pictures. I remind you this is a Show and Go car. I have many of spare parts that I am yet to put on. For instance, one of the windows is hard to put up and down so I have an extra regulator that is yet to be installed. This car is garage kept and rarely has the windows or top up. It could use a small patch on the passenger floor pan in the front. I have the patch panel but am going to wait until it gets cold to put it back in the shop. It is missing the attena base too. Now for the good, it runs excellent and has a 3 speed manual transmissin, with AC, Power steering and great brakes. Most of the weatherstipping is new. The truck is in great shape. Car is not a bondo queen. It has been garaged kept since 1970, I still have the tags from 1976 on the car. I also have a new set of seats for it. The only rust is the size of a cell phone with pin holes in the front floor pan. Frame rails are great and have not been damaged. Buck tag is on the car still and it has an aftermarket center console. Horns work great along with gauges and turn signals. I included pictures of the cowl because most have rust or trash in there that is impossible to get out and fix without spending thousands. The cowl on this mustang is perfect. Parts included with the car: C4 Transmission, window regulators, patch for passenger floor pan, GT spare rim, and car cover, and sway bar.
