Rare Find- Classic 1992 Mercedes Benz Black and Silver Grey 300CE 2DR Coupe. I believe a very limited number of these cars were made. This car is a great restoration opportunity; it is currently not running and my mechanic has told me it needs a replacement ignition module. I have decided to purchase a newer car but want to find a good home for this great and reliable old car. (These pictures are before the car was cleaned up...It just came back from the shop. New pictures will be available tomorrow.) For a good home I will negotiate the price!! I believe my late husband and I are the only owners. It may have been a luxury lease car for it's first couple of years. It has been my constant and so reliable companion for many years.This lovely old car still gets all the best "look at that gorgeous Mercedes" attention. It was purchased used in Denver Colorado at Valley Motors in Englewood Colorado and maintained closer to home at German Motors in Lakewood. It has so many special features you really need to take a look. special suspension package, sun roof. This car has been the most reliable car I have ever owned and I have only had Mercedes or Volvo. The car was running very well for me up until the ignition failed. I was driving it back and forth to Evergreen for several weeks for a case I was working on and it was running just great on the highway. It was a joy climbing up I70 to Evergreen in this great old car it still handles like a youngster on the highway. It passed emissions easily and has a current license tag. The body is in good shape. It has always been in Colorado and always garaged. It needs a new windshield, a lens replaced on the left front. There is a ding to the back left fender panel which I am told is an easy fix, and the paint is in fair to good condition (It is the original point.)
