First year Toyota made the Supra. 6 Cylinder fuel injected engine. Not a lot of these around anymore and this one is a good candidate for a resto project. This car is running although needs a tuneup since it is running rough. Transmission shifts properly. There are some rust issues on the hood not rusted thru and the left quarter lower part as shown in the picture has some rust. Nothing major as far as rust is concerned. The interior is velour and needs the rear seats redone as the sun ate through the top of the seats as pictured. The seats would need to be redone but there are no rips on them. The dash is cracked and needs repair. The right door was repaired so there is a noticeable difference in the paint, but this is a restoration project and needs paint and bodywork. The good: Engine runs good, no burning oil at all. No leaking of oil and starts right up. There is a sensor light on at this time, I don't know what sensor is bad and it could be the reason it is running rough. The spare tire wheelwell looks good no rust, the frame is great no rust, shock towers also are good. All the glass is in good shape with no cracking or chips. This car is an excellent restoration project since it is all original. I bought the car from a friend who tows cars for the town and he got the car with no title so it will be sold with a bill of sale. Car is definitely not stolen and you can get a title from a title service company for around $275 to $325.00, or you can part it out if you wish. Not sure if the cars mileage on odometer is accurate. This is a no reserve auction, highest bid wins. I would want to complete the transaction within a week after auction ends at least. Don't bid if you have feedback under 10. Call me first before you bid. I need at least a deposit of half the winnning amount within 24 hours after auction ends. Don't bid if you are not serious about going thru with the deal. Let's not waste either yours or my time please. Inspections are done before the auction ends not after and I am available every day to show the car. Please feel free to call me at (203)531-6365 anytime before 10 p.m. eastern time and ask anything I might have missed. Ask for Joe or leave me a message. Car is located in Greenwich Ct., 45 minutes from NYC. No shipping, local pickup by winning bidder only. Although car is running, it has been sitting pretty much for a couple of years so trailering would be the recommended way to transport. This car is a resto project. No guarantees express or implied.
