Up for auction is a 1979 Lincoln Mark V. This vehicle came to our dealership and was traded in for a new vehicle. The owner was the second owner and said the vehicle was garage kept. The great thing about this Lincoln is the mileage - only 22,000 ACTUAL miles! We have a copy of the original "A" title and a clean copy of second title in dealership.
Overall this car is in good condition. All electrical, AC, power antennae, seems to function fine. The second owner told us that the passenger door had been repainted and there are noticable flakes of paint on passenger door. Vehicle has been rust-proofed and the body does show some signs of touch up and repaint.
Only modification that we see on the car is there is an air induction tube that was under the hood that corroded over time and in our photos you will see that duct piece is in the truck. It can be reattached. The piece between the duct and the air cleaner would have to be replaced. This does not affect running condition of the vehicle.
We have test drove the vehicle - brakes seem good - vehicle has all horn, wiper, turn signals, etc, function properly. Headlamps open and close with no problem. Vehicle has an original brand new spare in the trunk and the tires on the vehicle are the original cars when purchased new. Car has some play in the steering - may need some steering or suspension work but we are selling the car AS IS. Grand Ledge Ford does not intend to work on the mechanical or cosmetic condition of the car.
Interior and top on car are in good condition - chrome in good condition - undercarriage shows rust that photos indicate. Vehicle has 8 track player from factory. Aftermarket car cover in trunk. We have original brochure from selling dealer as well as owners manual and two sets of keys. We are not a collector of these types of cars - we took it in to make a new car deal and are ready to sell it.
