1965 Ford Ranchero Project. This car is solid and has the original 170 6 cylinder with 3 speed on the column. It has manual brakes and steering. This is a 4 lug car. I bought this car 3 years ago to fix up and have many parts but lost interest. It is believed to be original 65000 miles. It has good glass. The windows roll up and down. It runs and drives well, but has a sticky front passenger brake when you first start to drive I believe this is from sitting for so long. I have not even driven the car 30 miles in the last 3 years. It is started regularly and driven around our warehouse area and we keep fuel stabilizer in it. Car starts easy every time. Manual choke. This is what has been done to it: Amateur paint job several years ago and has some yellowing streaks showing through on the passenger side and a few chips here and there nothing major. New clutch. New interior. New door rubbers. New wooden steering wheel. New glove box liner. New rear tail light gaskets. New Mustang gauges with white face kit (much easier to read and see at night). New Gauge lenses. Parts included in this auction but have not been installed: New front 1” drop springs. Rechromed front bumper and painted brackets Chrome not show quality. Rear bumper is rough shape but kept it for the brackets. New chrome valve cover with new gasket and oil cap. New correct gas pedal. New 3 speed floor shifter. New correct stainless steel rocker moldings with some new clips to install. New correct grill emblem. New correct dome light bezel and lens. New correct door lock knobs. New stainless steel trim screw kit. New stainless steel interior screw kit. New bolts to install front and rear bumpers. Stainless steel hose dress up kit. New chrome air cleaner. New rubber hood bumpers. 1 new door hinge repair kit. New turn signal lenses and gaskets. New seat belts. New red energy bushing kit for rear springs. Car needs: New shocks. New tires (dry rotted from sitting). Wiper blades. Have available but not included in this auction: Again, these items are not included in the auction but are available to the winning bidder to purchase if interested: Complete OEM power steering from a 65 Falcon minus the pumps and brackets for the 170 motor Granada spindles, rotors, calipers, brakes for conversion from 4 lugs to 5 lug disc. Complete 66 mustang rear end a direct bolt in replacement with new bearing and seals and a disc brake kit so you would have 4 wheel disc brakes. Also available is a set of 20” rims and tires that may or may not fit once conversion is complete it will be tight. The best I can measure it looks as though it will work. But 18” would definitely work. Would prefer a cash sell, but may consider trades with some cash depending on what you have. You never know, make me an offer I want to get the car out of my garage.
