1981 VW Westfalia - Excellent condition inside and out. Has always been a 3rd car. This Westy has always been miticuously cared for and has been serviced for the past 13 years by a local independent VW shop (Unique Imports) that specializes in air-cooled VW's. Oil always changed every 3k miles. Conact me and I'll provide the phone # if you wish to speak to them about the past service performed. I have all receipts since I purchased the vehicle and is sold "as-is". Clean title and registration up to date. * 2nd owner since 1986 @ 24k miles * 126k miles (22k on rebuild) * All original - mostly always garaged (full time after being painted), interior like new, was repainted (6 years ago) with original color and all window and pop-top seals and chrome trim replaced, pop-top (w/ luggage rack/space) painted with marine paint to further protect fiberglass. Pop-top has no tears or rips. * 2.0L four-cylinder engine, air-cooled w/ four-speed manual transmission * Original factory air conditioning (note: I had the a/c belt removed many years ago to prolong the engine life) * All appliances like new: Sink (never been used and assume it works) with onboard water tank and city water hookup; Two-burner propane stove only used twice; Three- way (propane/110v ac/12v DC) refrigerator; Carpet like new as it has always been covered w/ clear carpet runners; Full curtains; 2nd table for front captain chair seats. * 6-ply tires with low miles * Newer brakes * Front bra * Tow package w/ hitch ball * Tinted windows * Original options include: Blaupunkt AM/FM/Cassette stereo with front door and rear speakers; rare dash cup holder; rear door opening insect net cover, front window 'sleeping' curtain cover, and side canopy * Have everything for camping: pots, pans, plates, cups, silverware, bed linens, comforter, road maps & books * Rhode Gear bike rack designed for the rear hatch door of a Vanagon * Includes German after-market full size 2-bdrm side tent ** items to note (all minor I just never fixed; have pics of each): - driver side window crank has broken knob - carpet worn spot between front seats - plastic front grill has two of the slats broken - some paneling paper bubbling - missing center cap on driverside front wheel cover - rear hatch paneling crack - antenna mast broke just past the body mount - odometer occaisionally will stop at 9/10th due to worn gear (common issue with Vanagons) - gas tank float misreads when fuel tank gets to half full and the dash gauge will show 'empty' - small paint blisters on front where the past road rock chips were not sanded down very well.
