This car has markings of L82, However, the vin number represents that it has an L48 engine. My mechanic verified, that the car has matching #'s Here is a 1975 corvette, with the front end of a 1981 corvette, & a rear spoiler (personal preference). Car has never been wrecked or raced. All electronics,,lights & guages,,,power windows work,,however the passenger window is slow & sluggish at times.. Everywhere I go, people look & want to know about this car,,she is a real head turner..Hardly anyone can pin point the year,,Looks like a 1981,,but has the desirable small rectangular rear window..The low profile rear spoiler, really sets her off...Beautiful body style,,NO rot or rust.. Previous owner just had the engine rebuilt, basically everything new but the crank shaft, It has a nice cam in it. I just installed a new power steering pump / pulley & a new water pump. This car has a NC State Inspection Sticker from July 2008 The car runs like a dream,,Starts very easily,,even after sitting for 3 days,,,she starts right up, She has the 350 engine with a big turbo 400 automatic transmission that shifts perfectly. The paint is faded pretty bad, so it needs to have a paint job, also the Gray & Blue interior is in suprisingly good condition. (Seats are in great shape under the seat covers) Appears to have always had seat covers over the seats. The T-tops come off & go on very easily like they should. It has a newer model radio with Bluetooth & CD,,With Sony speakers in the storage space. Overall this car is in great shape and with a little TLC it can be a very, very nice show car!!! The original T-top storage bag is still in the car. My mechanic inpected this car very well & found the Power steering pump leaking,,so that was replaced with a new one with a new pulley & belt,,We replaced the water pump as well,,He states this car is mechanically sound & is in great shape, able to be driven anywhere..There are no leaks of any kind. He also stated all the brake Calipers have been changed and are in good shape. Please be aware that the luggage rack is missing,, but a new stainless steel or chrome luggage rack is only $199,,, I will also include 2 different corvette catalogs that sells EVERY single part for this car. Car sounds & drives very strong, with that deep, corvette, baritone sounding engine,, Cranks very easily & drives like a dream, Even rides much smoother than most corvettes. (Several people have commented on this) As for the Air Conditioning,,,all of the hook ups are there,, but the components are missing (compressor,drier,,etc..) I was planning to restore her,,,But my mother in law passed away,,leaving me with the expenses...
