This auction is for my 74 Ford F100. I drive this truck every day to work. Unfortunately, the central air in my house went out last week and forces me to sell. The motor is rebuilt and has less than 20,000 miles. It is a 390 with C8AE-H heads (hardened valves). The truck is fed through a Jetted Edelbrock 750 carburetor. It is equipped with headers and dumped dual flowmaster 40 series. Oh, and check out the old school Mickey Thompson valve covers. To say the least, it sound mean! I work at a Porsche dealership and our guys see a lot of nice cars. However, when the technicians heard this truck fire up from across the parking lot it turned all of their heads. The 390fe has its own distinct, powerful, torquey sound. The transmission is a C6. It will easily pull a boat and cruise at highway speeds. The brakes are manual so that takes a little getting used to. The front is disk and the rears are drum. It does have power steering. It leaks but works fine. The frame is straight and has only surface rust. Rear axel is a 9" . The bed is solid and the front floor pans have been replaced. This truck has a working CD/am/fm player and 4 speakers.
