Vehicle Detail
I am selling a 1964 AMC Rambler. 6 cylinder. It is red in color, convertible with a new soft white top. Does not have the boot cover. The interior is two toned red and white and in good condition, considering the age with everything original. I would change the carpet. Exterior is in good condition with a minor scratches on the passenger side (view photo). Has a new CD player with detachable face. New glove compartment box installed. I am selling it AS IS. I had it checked by a local mechanic. I have the original service receipt with the work that has been done. Installed new pushrods, rocker arm, and adjusted the valves. There is no problem with the engine/motor. They ran the engine for me at the shop. Overall it needs minor work.(brakes, gears, new tires). It has not been driven for over a year. Radiator had been recently installed with new thermostat and gasket. I don't have time or money to keep up with it so I decided to sell it. It was my first car, bought it 6 yrs ago at a classic car dealership in Garden Grove, CA. I am the second owner of this car. It's hard to let go of her but I need a family car now. If you love fixing cars and don't mind the work, this will be good for you. Will be worth more to you in the long run when you fix it up. This would be a great project car. You don't see many of these in So Cal. If you live locally you can see it in person by appointment.
