Vehicle Detail
Delivery available - I am in Colorado Springs, CO. I am considering a trip to see my father in Wisconsin in the next week or two. I would be able to deliver this Blazer, on my flatbed trailer, anywhere along my route (Colorado Springs, CO to Kansas City, MO to Albert Lea, MN, to Oshkosh, WI) for a flat fee of $700 to cover the added costs of taking my truck and trailer (instead of my car) on a long trip. If this is something you would be interested in, PLEASE get in touch to discuss details BEFORE placing a bid on the Blazer! Thank you. Here is a sweet 2wd full-size Blazer with the Silverado trim package. This Blazer has a V8 engine, overdrive automatic transmission, nice paint, nice Centerline wheels, and is ready to drive anywhere in style! The engine is a 350ci V8 with a Quadrajet carburetor, HEI ignition, and dual exhaust. It starts easily and runs very nicely, with no smoke or unusual noises. The power is transferred through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive to allow for easy highway cruising. The dual exhaust is nice and quiet with just a touch of rumble for a good tone - nothing loud or obnoxious! As you can see in the photos, the Blazer's suspension has been lowered. This was accomplished by the use of drop spindles and springs in the front, with a spring-under conversion in the rear. The rear spring mounts were moved to reduce the amount of drop from the spring-under, and a c-notch was added as well. Shocks are Belltech Nitro-Drop at all 4 corners, and the truck rides quite nicely. Tires are BF Goodrich mounted on Centerline wheels. The body of this Blazer is in good overall condition. The two-tone paint is smooth and shiny, with a few dings and scratches as you might expect on a used vehicle. I believe it is all original metal, with no questionable repair work (no patched-together floors, rockers, etc). It shows no signs of any accident damage, although there is a bit of light hail damage. There are a few small rust areas, shown in the closeup photos below (behind each rear wheelwell, at the lower rear corner of each door opening, and a bit in the lower corners of the tailgate opening). This is mostly bubbling paint with some surface rust showing, not rust holes through the metal. All glass is in good condition with the exception of a crack in the left rear side window. The doors, hood, etc open and close very nicely. Overall this is a good-looking truck that turns heads wherever I drive it. The interior is quite nice as well. The tan velour seats are in excellent condition with firm foam, and no rips or tears. The tilt steering column is very tight, like new, not sloppy and worn out like many of this vintage. The dash cover has a few cracks from the speaker grill and defroster vents, but looks good overall as you can see in the pictures. There is no radio, but the truck has 4 nicely-installed speakers. The odometer reads 00804 - I believe the Blazer to have 100,804 miles (this will change as it's being driven occasionally). All gauges work and are accurate with the exception of the oil pressure gauge - it reads full high all the time. The truck originally had air conditioning, and the system is complete minus the compressor, so it shouldn't take too much to have it operating again. Overall this interior is a great place to spend your time! This is a great truck to drive! It looks good, sounds good, and rides nicely. The steering is crisp, tight and responsive. The transmission shifts perfectly. The engine runs flawlessly, never missing a beat. I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere. Included with the truck is a clear Colorado title, ready to transfer. If you have any questions, please ask them prior to placing your bid. If you are local, or know someone who is, please consider coming to see the truck in person. Different things are important to different people, and while I have tried to describe all important aspects of the vehicle, it's impossible to cover every little detail. Terms of Sale Buyer will be responsible for either having the vehicle shipped, or picking it up in person. I will sell to US buyers only! If you'd like to fly in and drive the truck home, I'll be happy to meet you at the Colorado Springs Airport. I expect a $500 deposit via Paypal within 24 hours of the end of auction. Payment in full is due within 5 days of the end of auction, no exceptions. I will accept cash or cashier's check for balance of payment. If picking up the vehicle in person within the 5 days, I will require the balance due in cash at that time. Please don't bid if you can't or won't pay! I know this doesn't need to be explained to most of you, but with all the new users something has to be said. Ebay is not a game, it costs money to list things here, please don't waste my time and money. Thank you! On Jun-11-10 at 17:28:02 PDT, seller added the following information:I've received several questions about the Blazer, and figured I should add some information here for all to see: The rear axle has 3.73 gears. The bolts you see under the rocker panels are from the Blazer's pre-lowered life when it had a set of aluminum running boards mounted. Yes, the power windows and power locks work. Smog equipment - as far as I know, it is intact. There is an AIR injection pump that pumps air into the exhaust manifolds, it is hooked up and has a belt on it. The Blazer also has a pair of catalytic converters in the exhaust system. I cannot say whether it will pass an emissions test or not, as we don't have that testing here in Colorado Springs. I do have some additional pictures taken from underneath the truck, showing the bottom of the floors, inner rocker panels, exhaust routing, etc. If you'd like to see these, let me know and be sure to include your email address (I can't send pictures through the Ebay messaging system). Thanks for all the interest, and if you have any questions don't hesitate to get in touch!
