Vehicle Detail
Here's a very nice Lincoln in great ORIGINAL condition..take a close look at the pictures..I tried selling it on ebay awhile back and some KNOB unregistered bidder messed it up, so we will try it again..It has the original 460 4 barrel v8 engine, automatic transmission, etc...looks to me like the only thing not original is the radio has been swapped for a cassette am-fm radio, and I suppose the tires are NOT original..The odometer shows about 27,500 miles. The paint is nice, there are some small rock chips etc..and a small ding here and there, but the overall shape is way above average....the vinyl top is in great shape, and the interior is also very , very nice...seats, door panels, headliner,,,everything....The car runs great, and shifts fine,,,the power windows, locks, and seats all work,,,The old factory A/C is even cooling well, and the cruise works also...NOW...here is what isn't perfect!!!...There is a small trim piece on the front fender lower missing, there is the typical little rusty spots under the vinyl top where water collects (a factory flaw)..and there is one center cap on a hubcap missing. Also, the headlight covers will pop open after the car is off for a long time..so there must be a small vacuum leak, but.when you start it , they close by engine vacuum, and open when you turn on the lights ...that all works fine. The only other thing that will need some repair is the tilt steering wheel will ratchet to the lowest position if you pull down hard on it..so the mechanism is worn some I suspect. This is a beautiful car and has not been abused,,I have a very low reserve price of $1800,,,It's worth that easily, but I'm not really a Lincoln guy!..bid with confidence..thanks..
