I got this in on trade from someone I used to go to school with, he traded the Cherokee in on a Jeep Wrangler. I have performed a service inspection on the Jeep and the recommended repairs are described below. I am doing this as a No-Reserve auction and am selling the Jeep as-is. Someone who is knowledgable about service work could really turn this Jeep into a supreme Jeep. As you can see the body is very very clean. The Cherokee has a solid body, solid floor, and solid rocker panels. $4,000 is my bottom dollar and do reserve the right to end the auction since this nice Jeep is for sale on my lot as well. The left rear wheel cylinder is leaking, the front pads and rotors are at 25%. The tires on the back are in good condition, probably at about 85%, the two front tires are at 30% and could be replaced. The rear pinion seal is leaking and there is a axle whining noise. The liftgagte doesn't open, all though the previous owner says there is a trick and when he did come in he opened and closed the liftgate a few times pointing it out to me, but I have yet to master his technique. Finally the exhaust hangers are broken. We specialize in right hand drive Jeep Cherokees and these repairs are pretty much standard on any Cherokee that I have in stock. But this being a manual transmission, ebay is the best place to find its next owner.
