Here for sale Pontiac fans is a very rare 1968 GTO Convertible. One of 766 with the following options 400 HO, 360 H/P, with a close ratio 4-Speed and a 370 rear. This drive train is all original and numbers matching. Original color was dark green but was painted red years ago. This car is a 10 footer but to be show quality it would need a paint job. The interior seems to be all original and in excellent condition with the exception of the carpet. All the sheet metal on the car looks very,very nice. There is no rust in the truck or the convertible well and both doors with the exception of 3 or 4 tiny blisters on the front corner of the drivers door. Looks like surface rust I do not believe it's all the way through. The lower inside doors are perfect.Factory tach and all gauges are in great working condition. I own alot of muscle car's and have owned many more and I think this is the nicest driving one yet. Drives like glass, no raddles, no squeaks,no weird noises. The power disc brake set-up is new and stops on a dime. The power steering works great. It has a drip I have a new seal kit that comes with the car.I have detailed and painted the convertible top rales but have not bought or installed a top for it yet because I was going to do the paint work first.I am moving to Colorado for work for the next 6 to 8 months and decided to put this car up for sale. I'm not going to give it away however the reserve is very fair for this rare car and If it sells someone will get a great deal if it does not I will restore it when I return home.
